We have practice tomorrow, Friday, May 11th

• 4-4:45 - Little Waves & inexperienced 5/6
• 4:45-5:30 - experienced 5/6 & 7/8
• 5:30-6:15 - 9/10, 11/12, 13 & up

Angie Franklin (email: [email protected]) is putting together meet job responsibilities and trying to accommodate all requests.  For those families new to swim team, ALL FAMILIES must have at least one parent volunteer for one shift of the meet--although we will glady accept 2 parents to volunteer:)

Will the following families who registered online, please complete page 2 of the Registration Form on the links section of the website and bring to practice or email your preference to Angie ([email protected]).

We are also in need of BULL PEN MOMS/DADS for all age groups.  Ideally, since we have rather large age groups, we'd love to recruit 4 parents per group, but will settle for 2/group. With 4, volunteers can work in shifts with 2 working the first half of the meet and the other 2 working the other half. Please consider stepping up to this very important position.  If parents don't volunteer, however, then we'll just assign who we think would be best. 

What does a Bull Pen Volunteer do?

• help line up the swimmers in your group before an event
• get swimmers to the right starting block at least 2-3 events before their event.  The coaches will take over from there.
• Designated bull pen areas will be set up for each age group to help ease the process of locating swimmers.  PArents too help get their little swimmers to Bull Pen Volunteers.

Bonus:

• You get to know all your kid's friends
• You get front row seats to watching your swimmer compete
• You will play a VITAL role in running a smooth swim meet.

Looking for Bull Pen Volunteers in the following groups:

• 5/6 boys (this is a small group--only 7 boys) 1 volunteer needed
• 5/6 girls (16 girls--need at least 2 volunteers needed)
• 7/8 boys (10 boys: need at least 2 volunteers needed)
• 7/8 girls (15 girls: Kami & Nancy---thanks!)
• 9/10 boys (13 boys: need at least 2 volunteers needed)
• 9/10 girls (17 girls: need at least 2 volunteers needed)

There are no BULL PENS for swimmers ages 11 & up.  These swimmers are responsible for getting to their own events.
