Parents & Swimmers,

We hope you are resting up for our first meet this evening.  Please keep in mind that meets go on RAIN or SHINE!.  They will start the meet if it is only raining, so please come prepared.  Umbrella, rain jackets, tents, extra clothes, etc.  In the event of lightening or thunder, the deck will be cleared.  Please go to you cars and wait it out. If you have access to email at the meets, stay tuned and we will update the team the best we can. 

Just a few important things to remember:

• Team T-shirts: there will be a pick-up tshirt table.  Parents, please pick up your swimmers' shirts when you arrive. Using a Sharpee--WRITE NAMES on inside label ASAP.
• Swimmer Check-in: swimmers should go see the coaches to get their events written on their arms.  An index card with your child's events will be on a bulletin board--please take it when you get in so we know your swimmer has arrived
• Volunteer Check-in: Parents, check the volunteer board for your job for the evening.  Please initial your name next to your name on the board so we know you are at the meet.  Angie Franklin will be there to help ease you though it.  At the halfway point during the meet--event # 46--the first shift ends and the second begins.  It will be announced.  Please return your items (timers, clipboard, etc) to the VOLUNTEER CHECK IN TABLE.
• FUN DAY: there is NO PRACTICE tomorrow, Wednesday 5/30.  Instead all swimmers are invited to attend FUN DAY from 10-11am.  Pick your your ribbons, hear from coaches, have some sweet treats, and enjoy free swim.  PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHILDREN.  There are no lifeguards ON DUTY.  Please ensure your child's safety, ask them to ask responsibly, and do not bring friends.  This is for team members ONLY.
• CROCS COLLECTON: Team members, Diego & Sam Quiroz are collecting used Crocs for a scouting project.  There is a drop-off bin at the pool.  Please support your team members and clean out your closet at the same time!

After the meet, some of us who are not too tired, head over to Taco Mac on 92 in Roswell for a much needed adult beverage and snack.  Kids welcome. If Taco Mac is not your style, please visit our sponsor YOGLI MOGLI on Shallowford & Sandy Plains.
