Parents & Swimmers,

What an exciting week we had with our first win and the first meet under our belt.  Hopefully families new to summer swimming can appreciate the fun and excitement and now have a good grasp feel for their volunteer jobs at meets.  Remember, we can't do it without you!  Summer swim league meets are run entirely (other than the Cobb County official) by parent volunteers and your amazing support is invaluable.  THANK YOU!!!

Next Tuesday is our HOME meet vs. East Spring Lake (check-in @ 4:30--warm-ups @ 5pm--meet @ 6pm).  At home meets, our team hosts the event and a concession stand.  As we announced at the beginning of the year, we need each family to donate ONE CASE (24) of water or Coke, Diet Coke or Sprite for us to sell at the meet.  We've got lots of water, but need soda.  Walmart had cases of soda on sale for less than $6.  Please drop off your much needed donation in our swim team office by Tuesday. 

Volunteer Needed--perfect job for teenager/sibling NOT swimming

• We need 1-2 teenager (or anyone) to be our event & heat flipper.  It's an easy job, where you can sit and simply flip numbers according to the announcer.  If you've got a sibling just hanging at the meet anyway, we sure can use their help.  They can work first or second half--or both!  Concession stand coupon included!!

• At home meets the Waves serve pizza, Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches, nachos & cheese, hotdogs, candy & more!  Come hungry!
  

Parking

• We have a large team this year and we need to have space for our visiting team.  We are URGING all Chatsworth families to please LEAVE YOUR CAR AT HOME or ask a nearby neighbor if you can park in their driveway.  All others families, PLEASE consider carpooling or parking up at the vacant Kroger lot.  We've got a small lot and we've got to create space for our guests.  Thanks for your help and cooperation.
