Parents & Swimmers,
The WAVES WIN the 2nd meet of the season! Hurray! All the swimmers did terrific. A big THANK YOU to the 13/14 girls who swam up to the 15+ to dominate! You did great! A BIG thanks to all our parent volunteers--we can't do it without you! You made our first home meet a piece of cake. Thanks Angie Franklin for helping all our volunteers & our concession gals Renay Bedora & Jenny Slocumb for feeding us all!
Tomorrow is FUN DAY from 10am-11am. Thanks Meg Williams for championing our special day. Parents--PLEASE--talk to you swimmers about safety. While it's a whole lot of fun to push the coaches in the pool, doing so in the deep end is not only unsafe, but scary for even the most seasoned swimmers. Having 10 small children wrapped around your neck in 8 feet of water is just not safe and a little terrifying. Please remind your swimmers of SAFETY FIRST. Fun Day will not be fun at all if someone gets hurt.
We are back to practice as usual on Thursday and there is a clinic on Friday & Monday (see below).

CLINICS (open to swimmers ages 7 & up--Little Waves and 5/6 arrive at regular time)
- Friday, June 8th - clinic with Coach Kathy - Chattahoochee Gold from 10-11 (all swimmers ages 7 & up, please arrive at 9:45am).
- Monday, June 11th - clinic with Coach Pike - Stingrays from 10:15-11:15.(7/8 & 9/10 arrive regular time--all others ages 11 & up, arrive at 10am)
