Parents & swimmers,

I made a mistake on the end of season WAVES Swim Party (aka "Swim Banquet"....that sounds way too fancy for what it is:).  It will be held on THURSDAY, 6/28 from 6-9pm at the Chatsworth pool.  Usually we have it on the evening the day after the last meet, but quite honestly, it's exhausting to plan a both swim meet and then a party back to back.  A day break in between helps us get it together. 

For those new to the Chatsworth Waves, the Swim Banquet is a can't miss event for swimmers and their families.  It's a casual pool party where all swimmers will receive medals and special trophy's are given within each age group to the Rising Star, Most Improved, & MVP.  The coaches too have a Golden Goggle Awards for silly accomplishments.  Another highlight is the photo slideshow--it's a recap of your adorable swimmers throughout the season.  We do our very best to make sure every swimmer is in the slideshow at least once if not more--parents too!  It's amazing to see how every swimmer has improved in a few short weeks and all the fun they've had on swim team!

In the next day or two a flyer for the event will be sent out and we need RSVP's by 6/22.  We will offer Zaxby meals for purchase. Cake & drinks will be provided.  If you choose not to order Zaxby's, we ask each family to donate $10/family for the cost to hire lifeguards, cake, drinks, etc.  Extra tables and chairs will be set up, but we encourage families to bring chairs and their preferred ADULT beverage (no bottles please).

Please let us know by FRIDAY if you swimmer is not available to swim.  Other than illness, last minute changes to the line-up cause chaos and extra work.
