Parents & Swimmers,

The WAVES did it again and pulled out a big win against Falcon Woods (521-375).  Great job!  Home meets require a lot of extra volunteers and work.  Thank you to all our volunteers and a BIG THANKS to all the families who stayed until the end of the meet to help put our pool back together.  THANK YOU!!!!

Tomorrow is our TEAM PICTURE at 10am.  We will take age group shots and then one team picture.  Photos will be made available on Shutterfly.  Please wear your team t-shirt & suit.  Practice times are scheduled as usual.  The 7/8 & 9/10 will end a little early to have the picture.

Swim Team Banquet: Visit the team website under the "links" section to download and invitation to the party--Thursday, June 28th from 6-9pm.  Please RSVP by Friday, 6/22.  We have to order the cake and Zaxby's and have final headcount to hire lifeguards.  Drop off your party invite & check at practice in the wooden lock box.

Patti Wilder State Qualifier Meet: If your swimmer would like to compete with the best of the best in Cobb County, they can compete in the Patti Wilder State meet, held at the Mountain View Aquatic Center on July, 6, 7, 8 (warm-ups, 7/5, swimmers 13+ compete 7/6, swimmers ages 9-11 compete 7/7, swimmers ages 6-8 compete 7/8).  The cost for entry is $5 per event and a WAVES coach will be available to guide your swimmer through the events. Deadline for entry is Friday 6/29.  Email Angie Franklin: [email protected] for more details.
