The meet is still on.  Check ins @ 5pm.

There is, however, a severe thunderstorm warning for this area through 9pm this evening.  In looking at the map and hourly forecast, it looks like we are good up until 8pm.  Only the Cobb County Official can "call the meet" (cancel it).  In the event of thunder, it will be delayed 30 minutes for every occurrence.  Lightening clears the deck.  If that happens, seek shelter immediately inside or go to your cars.  Please do not leave Westchester until the meet has been officially canceled.  The officials and coordinators from both teams will be watching weather alerts and make that decision for the safety of all.  The county recommends if teams get to event #46, and if there is threatening weather, the official may call the meet and whichever team has the most points at that point wins.  Westchester and the Waves have already decided, whether we get to 46 or not, we will not rechedule this meet.
