PLEASE RSVP for 6/8 MEET!!!

WAVES Families (it's long, so please read - check list of swimmers OUT for this meet ):

Tomorrow evening is our rescheduled meet vs. Arbor Bridge.  We have a clinic tomorrow with Marlins and it will break down as follows:

• Little WAVES & 5/6: 9-9:45am (Little Waves only practice for 30 minutes) - NORMAL TIME
• 7/8: arrive @ 9:45 and warm up.  30 minute clinic from 10-10:30 with Marlins
• 9 & ups: arrive @ 10:30 and warm up.  30 minute clinic from 10:45-11:15 with Marlins

​We decided 2 meets in one week is pleny of excercise, so there will be NO PRACTICE on FRIDAY 6/5.  See you Monday. 

Weather: Please stay tuned to email and the team Facebook page for updates about the weather.  Once we are there, if there is thunder or lightening, the deck must be cleared.  Go to your cars and await further instruction.  We must wait 30 minutes every time thunder/lightening occurs.  If it looks like it is not going to clear or if the storms turn dangerous, then both team coordinators will meet with the Cobb County Official and make a decision as to how to proceed.

Meet Time:  arrival  betw 5-5:15, warm-ups @ 5:30, meet begins at 6pm

​Check-in (swimmers & volunteers): Upon arrival, all swimmers must see a coach for their events.  There will be a small piece of paper tacked to a bulletin board.  Swimmers may take their events from the board.  This tells us that they have arrives.  Parents may check the volunteer board for the evening's duties.  Please initial next to your name to indicate that you have arrived.  See Mandy Fischer and/or Katie Wilson for further instruction.

Meet Location: Arbor Bridge Gators - 4219 Arbor Club Drive, Marietta, GA 30066

Arbor Bridge is located off Steinhauer Rd.  From Highland Pointe, you will turn right on Wigley Rd.  Turn left at the light onto Jims Road.  Follow Jims Road until it ends into Steinhauer Rd.  Take a left on Steinhauer Rd.  Follow to the 2nd entrance of Arbor Bridge on your left.  Once in Arbor Bridge, turn right at the first stop sign.  You will follow North Arbor Trail until it dead ends into Arbor Club Drive (go straight thru the 4 way stop).  The pool will be on your right.  

Parking: Families are to park only on the right side of the street.  No parking signs will be posted on the left side. We will reserve a spot for your Head Coach and  2 Coordinators in the small pool lot.  

What to bring:  Chairs, umbrellas, extra towels, money for concessions, extra dry clothes, mark all clothes with name.

Clubhouse & Concessions:  Please let your families know that the door from the pool deck into the clubhouse is for volunteers only.  The concession stand can only be accessed from the front doors of the club house.  We have limited pool furniture, so I would advise your families to bring chairs.   We have an area inside the clubhouse for scorekeepers and data entry volunteers (ribbons). Just let me know if you would like us to announce a volunteer switch at any point in the meet.  We typically switch volunteers after Event 46. 

After Party:  Taco Mac or Corner Pizza--whatever you prefer

Fun Day:  No FUN DAY on Friday.  No practice.
