Hi Waves families!

Hope your swimmers are resting and hydrating for tonight's meet!

We had 2 great clinics this morning with coach Larry Baskin from Marietta Marlins. He worked on streamlines at starts and turns for 7/8 yo. Our 9 and older swimmers worked on drills and the correct starting technique for breaststroke.

Several of our own swimmers and coach Colin swim competitively with Marietta Marlins year round. If you are interested in learning more about this great local swim club, please visit their website www.mariettamarlins.com or come watch them practice at the Mountain View Aquatic Center (2650 Gordy Parkway, Marietta, GA 30066, across from the Mt. View Library). Marietta Marlins offer 11 levels starting with the beginning group for ages 5 and up. 

Upcoming clinics with other local swim clubs:

This Friday, June 10: Clinic with coach Pike from "Stingrays" for 11 and older only at 10:30 AM

Monday, June 12: Clinic with coach Kim from "Stingrays" for ages 7-10 only at 10:20 AM (we will confirm practice times for 7/8 and 11 and older closer to Monday)

Friday, June 17: Water polo clinic with "Kraken Water Polo" (normal practice times, any changes will be confirmed closer to 6/17)

Monday, June 20: Clinic with coach Andy from "Chattahoochee Gold" 10-11 AM (clinic will be split between normal practice times of 7/8 and 9 and older)
