This is a reminder that if your swimmer(s) are interested in swimming in the Cobb County Meet (Patti Wilder) to please let us know as the deadline is quickly approaching - Thursday June 16th!

This meet is a great experience for your swimmer(s) especially if they don't swim year round. If your swimmer would like to swim in the meet but can't swim in the evenings because of prior commitments, you can still swim! Swimming in finals or at the State Meet is NOT required. You can simply "scratch" your swimmer out after they swim in the morning. 

We already have 6 swimmers signed up who are going to represent the Chatsworth Waves along with Coach Cassie. We really encourage any interested swimmers to try at least the morning session and not to be turned away because of scheduling conflicts.​ Please consider participating!

When?

Saturday June 25th - swimmers ages 5 to 10

Sunday June 26th - swimmers ages 11 to 18

Where?

Mountain View Aquatic Center (2650 Gordy Pkwy Marietta, GA 30066) across from the Mountain View Public Library

Both days will begin in the morning and will last 4-5 hours. If your swimmer(s) finish any of their races in the top 20, they can come back and swim again in the evening for finals. That evening, the top 3 fastest swimmers in each event will qualify to swim at the State Meet held the weekend of July 22-23. 

Note: 5 & 6 year olds will only swim in the mornings, they do not compete in finals that evening. 

Cost:

$5 per individual event 

plus $10 per swimmer to cover coach fees.

Swimmers can enter into 2 individual events. Please text Coach Cassie which events your swimmer(s) would like to compete in, If your swimmer(s) would like recommendations about which events to swim, or if you have any questions at (404)-805-9139. 

Please bring Elena Venuti your payment (checks written to Chatsworth Waves Swim Team) and a copy of your swimmer(s) birth certificate(s) to swim practice on Thursday June 16th.
