Hello WAVES families,

Our 11 and older swimmers had a great backstroke clinic with Coach Larry from Marietta Marlins this morning. He showed the swimmers this video and asked if I could pass it on to everyone for a great reference on good and basic backstroke turns: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1XCbNZFjug&sns=em

If your swimmers may be interested in a year 'round club experience, Marietta Marlins are holding assessments/tryouts every Wednesday 6-7 PM​ at Mountain View Aquatics Center or Cherokee County Aquatics Center

No one is obligated to join Marlins (though they'd very much like that!). But swimmers and parents will have a chance to look over the program, costs, schedules, meet other coaches, and talk about year 'round swimming.
