We understand emergencies come up, so IF YOU HAVE TO MAKE A LAST MINUTE CHANGE AND DECIDE TO SWIM OR NOT TO SWIM, PLEASE TEXT COACH CASSIE AT 404-805-9139  by Tuesday at noon.

WHAT TO BRING:  Your team T-SHIRTS (parents and swimmers), swimsuits (MAKE SURE THE SUITS DO NOT HAVE LOGOS OF OTHER TEAMS), an extra pair of goggles, chairs, umbrellas, extra towels, money for concessions, extra dry clothes, mark all clothes with your name, camera.

SWIM MEET ARRIVAL TIME:  5 PM
Swimmers: check in with the coaches for your events. There will be a small piece of paper tacked to a bulletin board. Swimmers may take their events from the board. This tells us that they have arrived. Warm-ups for our team start at 5:30 PM.

Parents: check in with the volunteer coordinators for the evening’s duties. Please initial next to your name to indicate that you have arrived. Meeting for Place Judges and Timers with the referee is at 5:45 PM. Location TBD, listen for the announcement.

The Parent Wave: 5:55 PM after the swimmers' cheer with Coach Maxwell.

MEET LOCATION: Windsor Oaks pool address is 2992 Windsor Way, Marietta GA 30066​. 

PARKING: Parking in the lot near the pool is limited. If you park on the street, please park on the right hand side to allow neighbors easy passage and allow for emergency vehicles.  

CLUBHOUSE: You are welcome downstairs in the pavilion, there are to be NO swimmers or visiting team allowed in the upstairs of the pavilion.  Swimmers are also NOT allowed to use the single restroom that is located next to concessions (under the pavilion).  They must use the restrooms located directly in front of the pool.  We also ask that swimmers stay off of the tennis courts.  

CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be offered at the pavilion during the meet: hot dogs, hamburgers, Chick fil-A sandwiches and pizza along with candy and drinks.

WEATHER: Please stay tuned to email and the team Facebook page for updates about the weather.  Once we are there, if there is thunder or lightning, the deck must be cleared.  Go to your cars and await further instruction. Do not go home. We must wait 30 minutes every time thunder/lightning occurs.  If it looks like it is not going to clear or if the storms turn dangerous, then both team coordinators will meet with the Cobb County Official and make a decision as to how to proceed.

CODE OF CONDUCT AT SWIM MEETS FOR PARENTS:
We would like to remind all parents to exhibit good sportsmanship toward coaches, fellow teammates, opposing swimmers and parents, and, most importantly, the referees. The Cobb Summer Swim League’s protocol to handle unsportsmanlike conduct to referees include: possibly removing parent(s) from the pool area, calling police, cancelling the meet resulting in forfeiture. Let's support our kids and let them have some swimming fun!
