Happy Father’s Day to our Dads!

COACHES’ GIFTS DONATIONS:
We are starting to collect donations for the End of Season gifts for our coaches. You can designate a donation for a specific coach or make a note to divide it among all the coaches equally. Any amount is appreciated. Cash or checks made to Chatsworth Waves Swim Team can be dropped off in the wooden coordinator’s box during practices this week or please feel free to PayPal to [email protected]. DEADLINE IS 6/25 at NOON.

NEED YOUR PHOTOS for the End of the Season Celebration Slideshow!!!
We are still collecting photos of our WAVES swimmers for the End of the 2019 Season slideshow that our coaches will prepare. To make sure your child is featured in the slideshow, please share your photos on our shared Shutterfly site. The site is https://chatsworthwaves2014.shutterfly.com/ and the password is WAVES (all caps). It’s called Chatsworth Waves 2014, but we are using it for all seasons. Go to "Photos & Videos" tab, find album WAVES 2019 Season and add your photos. We want to make sure every child is featured in the slideshow! DEADLINE IS 6/25 AT NOON.

MORNING PRACTICES THIS WEEK AS USUAL:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
9-9:30 Little Waves and 5/6
9:40 – 10:25 7/8 and 9/10
10:30 – 11:15 11 & up

TUESDAY: FUN DAY 10-11 AM
Free swim and breakfast treats for everyone (please have your youngest swimmers wear floaties if they are not comfortable swimming alone or plan on going in the water with them. Our coaches will not go in the water, they be lifeguarding at the pool).

Swimmers who competed Monday night, will pick up their ribbons in the folders with their names AFTER THE LITTLE WAVES’ RACES. This is a change from our previous Fun Days. Little Waves and non-competing 5/6 yo will race with coaches’ help across the shallow end of the pool and receive a ribbon.

FREE CLINICS for 7 and up:

*WEDNESDAY:
9:40-10:25 MARIETTA MARLINS Coach Lim will be in on Wednesday morning to run a free clinic for our 7/8 and 9/10 swimmers during regular practice time. Stay for the water polo clinic (see below).

10:30 – 11:15 KRAKEN WATER POLO Coach Owen will run a clinic on fundamentals of water polo. 7/8 and 9/10 are invited to stay for this clinic!

*THURSDAY:
STINGRAYS’ Coach Pike will be in on Thursday morning to run a free clinic for our swimmers 7 and up during regular practice times.
