PRACTICE CANCELLATIONS THIS WEEK:
Due to temperatures in the 50's tomorrow 6/13 and Friday 6/14 mornings, we may cancel practices. Check you email before heading out. We will email by 8:15 AM.

RSVP FOR SWIM MEET AWAY NEXT MONDAY 6/17 AGAINST NORTHAMPTON HAMMERHEADS:
Please indicate your swimmer’s availability by Friday at 11 AM here https://chatsworthwaves.swimtopia.com/swim_meets.

When declaring your swimmer’s availability, you are welcome to leave a note for the coach.Coach Ashley is the main contact for lineup questions. Her cell: 770-769-6028.

CHOOSE A VOLUNTEER JOB AT THE MEET*:
Parents, please choose your favorite volunteer shift. We will assign a shift for you if your swimmer is competing in the meet and you have not yet volunteered or volunteered fewer hours than others https://chatsworthwaves.swimtopia.com/swim_meets

*Ribbon writers job change! We have decided to try a new process of ribbon writing starting with this meet. Instead of volunteers writing ribbons during the meet, we will use computer entry to enter times and places and create complete labels for each swimmer. The volunteers will then use the prepared labels and attach them onto the ribbons at 10-10:30 AM during FUN DAY. The swimmers will be able to receive their ribbons after the Little Waves races.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Wednesday, June 19: Free clinic for 7/8 and 9/10 yo with a year-round swim team Marietta Marlins’ Coach Lim during regular practice time.

Wednesday, June 19: Free WATER POLO clinic for 11 & up (younger swimmers with strong swimming skills are welcome as well) with a competitive team Kraken Water Polo during regular practice time. Come learn the fundamentals of water polo skills. Chatsworth will also have monthly pickup water polo games in the summer for our team members.

PHOTOS STILL NEEDED FROM EVERYONE FOR THE SLIDESHOW
Add photos of your swimmers from this swim season to the album titled WAVES 2019 SEASON so they can be included into the end of the year slideshow (password WAVES). This includes Little Waves and everyone who competing and who doesn’t.
