MORNING PRACTICES START ON TH 5/23
Regular practice 9 - 9:30 AM for Little Waves and 5/6

We begin our morning practices on Thursday 5/23. Practices are open, and the parents are welcome to stay in the pool area. However, we ask that you please refrain from talking with your child and coaches during practices. This will help the coaches stay focused and ensure swimmers' safety. If you have a concern, please speak with a coach after the practice is over or ask/email one of the coordinators.

PRACTICE MEET is tomorrow TH 5/23 at 9:30 AM for everyone competing this season. We should be done by 11 AM.

TEAM T-SHIRTS:
The t-shirts have arrived and will be distributed at every practice and meet starting tomorrow.

TEAM SWIMSUITS:
We have 1 extra girl’s swimsuit size 20 (for a Little Wave or 5/6) if anyone would like to purchase. $27 cash or check. Team suits can still be purchased through the Shop page on our website during the season.

RSVP FOR SWIM MEET AT WESTCHESTER NEXT TUESDAY 5/28:
We have only 64 swimmers declared available. 35 swimmers have not yet declared their status. Please indicate your swimmer’s availability by this Friday at 11 AM here https://chatsworthwaves.swimtopia.com/swim_meets.

If your child is a returning swimmer, we have their swim times from last year. If your child is new to the team, we will use a swim app to find their best times if they swim year round. If they are not a year-round swimmer, please leave a comment for the coach when you RSVP and indicate your swimmer’s best stroke/times.

If your year-round swimmer has a USA ID number and you have not indicated it during registration, please let us know ASAP.

CHOOSE A VOLUNTEER JOB AT THE MEET:
There are still a few volunteer shifts available. Please choose a shift or you will be assigned one if your swimmer is competing in the meet.

1^st volunteer shift – events 1-43
2^nd volunteer shift – events 44 – 86

PARENT RELAY:
In keeping up with our fun tradition, we would like to challenge Westchester parents and race them in a freestyle relay. We need 4 Moms and 4 Dads to step up who would like to participate (4x50 or 4x25, checking with what their parents prefer). Please let us know who would like to swim in the event 46B (weather permitting)?
